This page was given to me by my loving daughter on October 11, 2005. She made the top graphics (Jesus, scroll, rose, ribbon) special for me when she found out that I have breast cancer. She and some special WOSIB sisters made this wonderful page for me. Thank you Dean, Linda in Oz, and Kat for your special work on this for me.

My name is Sami to my online friends and Shari to those who know me offline. I am a single mom of two wonderful children. My son is a junior in high school, and my daughter is in 8th grade. I was just diagnosed with breast cancer on October 7, 2005. This is a difficult time in our lives now, but God and our loving friends will help us through. I made this quilt square for the Big/Little sister's quilt at WOSIB.

2 Corinthians 1:3-7
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort.
